STOPit App We are excited to inform you that Kingsland High School has enrolled with STOPit! STOPit is an online reporting tool designed to deter and mitigate bullying, cyber abuse, and other inappropriate behaviors, consisting of an app and a back-end incident management system for school administrators.
The School board approved next year's (SY2018-2019) academic calendar. The calendar has school beginning two weeks earlier than normal, Monday, August 20, 2018. The purpose behind starting school before Labor Day is to provide a longer summer in 2019. The school district is undertaking a major health and safety project requiring additional time needed for the summer of 2019. I want to assure our families that we will work with you regarding vacation plans and state and county fairs (FFA/4H). We will hold-harmless our students needing to be gone during the early start window. Our staff is prepared to work with you for their success. Please communicate early and often with our office secretaries as your August plans begin to take shape. Again, we are here to support you. Calendar link is here.

Parent Portals - Infinite Campus
The Parent Portals are now populated with student, family and household information. Those that attended the KHS Open House picked up their activation keys to login to the Parent Portal. If you were not able to attend the open house, you may stop by the KHS office to pick up your activation key and directions. You may also email Jim Hecimovich, and he can send it to you via email.
