Reading

Kindergarten: Write the alphabet, think of something that has the same beginning sound as each of the letters in your name (Quin: q-queen, u-umbrella, i-igloo, n-noodles)

1st Grade: 30 minutes of reading.

2nd Grade: 30 minutes of reading.
Math

Kindergarten: Write the numbers 0-20, practice counting by finding 30 of something (goldfish crackers, Legos, crayons, etc).

1st Grade: Write numbers 1-120, skip counting by 2's, 5's, and 10's.

2nd Grade: Create random 3 digit numbers by rolling dice and filling in the hundreds, tens, and ones place. If you do not have dice, use playing cards or write numbers 0-9 on slips of paper and pull them out of a bowl. Practice writing 3 digit numbers using standard form (695), expanded form (600+90+5), and by drawing blocks (squares, sticks, dots).
