Create a Google Slide or poster showing the names/shapes for rectangles, parallellograms, triangles, and one additional quadrilateral of your choice.

Draw a label an example of a contact force as well as a non contact force.

Write a letter to your kindergarten buddy.  Please use complete sentences and make it at least 15 sentences long!

Build a fort in your house and read your steps in it!

With parent permission, practice fractions by making play doh!  Use that play doh to stay busy on this cold day, and send me a picture of one of your play doh creations!

Create a poster teaching someone about air resistance, water resistance, and a balanced force.

Write a letter to Mrs. Lanning.  This should have complete sentences, and be at least 15 sentences long!

Spend 1 hour each day with no technology.

Create 5 problems using that use the appropriate Order of Operations to solve. 3 of those problem must include parenthesis. Be sure to have an answer key!
*including exponents are optional.

Conduct your own experiment and record it show your findings.  It must contain only ONE variable (thing that changes) for each attempt.

Create a poster labeling all (and giving one example) of the figurative language listed below:
Idioms, Hyperbole, similie/metaphor, alliteration.

*Required in addition to one other choice.

Create 10 flashcards that show adding, subtracting, or multiplying fractions.  At least 7 of them must have unlike denominators!  Include an answer key.

 

Make 3 different paper airplanes and "race" them.  Explain why the winner was successful for each race. (3 attempts minimum)

Tell me about your favorite book.  This can be in a Google slide, a poster, or in a letter.  Include 15 sentences and an illustration!

Record a video of you teaching (and demonstrating) force and motion to a younger sibling or pet.

Tell me something that you like about school and why.  Also, tell me something that you don't like and why.  Make it a minimum of 15 complete sentences.

Do 25 jumping jacks, 25 sit ups, and a 2 minute wall sit.

1.  Write your name at the bottom of the card.

2.  Choose one box from each column (up & down) to complete.  {One grey column, one white, one grey, etc...)

3.  As you complete a box, have an adult initial in the box that you chose to do.

4.  Return the completed card to your teacher the next time you have school.

5.  If questions arise, I will be checking my email from 10am through 3pm.
