I am an educator by choice. I have had a desire to teach since I was a student in high school. In addition to being a teacher, I am also a student that is continually learning about education and methods to improve my instruction in the classroom.

I grew up in Colorado and after high school I attended college at University of Sioux Falls for my bachelor’s degree (1994) and Winona State University for my masters (2001).

I am currently in my 24th year of teaching math. I have taught in several public schools as well as private individuals. I have been involved in several web-based learning opportunities, both as a teacher and as a student. 

 I currently live in Rochester, MN. My two children attend are in college. My son is a senior at Colorado Christian University in Denver. My daughter is a sophomore at University of Sioux Falls in South Dakota (my alma mater!)
